The complex restoration works to this Grade 2 listed structure, combined with a new extension, have given this city centre landmark building a new lease of life in the form of a flagship store for Mothercare.
The façade works involved replacement of cracked and missing faience stones, the cleaning of the façade and a full re-pointing programme. The end result has greatly enhanced this part of Castle Place and ensured the survival of this important historic structure
