DOWN LEISURE DROME
Following our successful bid in 2007 for the Stage 1 Provision for Elite Sport Facilities for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, WDR & RT Taggart has teamed up with Down District Council to bid for Stage 2 of the Northern Ireland National Velodrome Centre. We have developed an adventurous master plan for the Northern Ireland facility which includes provision for a new cycling velodrome along with multi-purpose sports activities including speedway cycling and BMX tracks, cafes, swimming pools and other leisure facilities.
