MARSHES SHOPPING CENTRE, DUNDALK

This scheme is designed as an extension to Dundalk's town centre. Central to the proposal is a new pedestrianized street and a square.

The building facades use the visio-structural language of the buildings which make up the historic core of the town, using traditional materials such as stone, glass and copper.

The centre contains two large anchor stores. Linking these is a double height glazed mall containing a series of unit shops. The mall is gently curved on plan and is punctuated by three large domes. Natural limestone floor and wall finishes combine with shop frontages in a variety of designs to create a high quality shopping environment.
