NIE PLC FRAMEWORK
We provide engineering consultancy services to Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) PLC on their framework for major infrastructure, consisting of sub-stations and overhead lines, for the connection of wind farm developments to the high voltage network.
Magherakeel / Omagh Main Sub-Stations and 110kV Overhead Line
The project involves the installation of a new mesh at Omagh Main Sub-Station and the construction of a new 110kV sub-station at Magherakeel with associated 34km of inter-connecting 110kV overhead line. Services provided include procurement of topographic surveys and site investigation works with subsequent contract administration, preparation of tender documents, conditions of contract and specification, tower design and detailing.
