LIMAVADY GRAMMAR SCHOOL SYNTHETIC TURF PITCH
WDR & RT Taggart carried out the role of Lead Consultant on behalf of the Western Education & Library Board (WELB) for the £565k construction of a floodlit sand-dressed synthetic turf hockey pitch (5,944m²) at Limavady Grammar School, Limavady. Works included:
- Floodlighting.
- Bitumen macadam engineered base to pitch.
- Drainage.
- 18mm in situ shockpad and 18mm pile sand-dressed synthetic turf.
- Perimeter fencing of height 4.5m and 5.5m.
- Spectator protection fencing 1.2m high.
- Realignment of existing service road.
