SAINT ANNE'S SQUARE PIAZZA & STREETSCAPE
This scheme included the creation of a new ‘European Style’ Square and pedestrian streets, within the Cathedral Quarter Conservation Area of Belfast. The square is enclosed by a hotel, apartments, offices and retail units, restaurants and multi-storey car park; incorporating retail, community and residential facilities. The scheme includes high quality paving to the square & ‘cobbled’ streets, footpath and road resurfacing, street lighting and feature up-lighting, bespoke natural stone seating, tree planting and soft landscaping within planters, public art and information signage. Materials chosen for the scheme emulate those found within the Cathedral Quarter context, complement the Belfast ‘Street Ahead’ scheme and are an integral part of the design.
