These proposals, developed with McAleer & Rushe Ltd, are for a comprehensive multi-use scheme to complement the existing Newry City offer in terms of: luxury, affordable and social housing, leisure uses, a marina, hotel accomodation, workspace and retail space.
The proposals recognize the strategic importance of Newry's location on the
Belfast-Dublin corridor and seek to develop a vision and strategy to sustainably regenerate the area currently known as The Albert Basin.
