LISBURN CITY CENTRE - URBAN RECONSTRUCTION
The Lisburn Square and Wallace Buildings developments, designed by WDR & RT Taggart, redefine and 'heal' this part of the City's urban fabric through a large-scale, retail-led, mixed-use regeneration project, providing a new urban space to house the historic Tuesday Market.
The demolition of a 1970's Modernist municipal swimming pool made way for a series of new buildings which enhance the existing character of the historic core and reinstate traditional street-lines.
Car parking is under-grounded and and an efficient servicing strategy realised for the whole City block.
