SAINT ANNE'S SQUARE, CATHEDRAL QUARTER, BELFAST
The Saint Anne's Square site in Belfast's historic core was masterplanned by WDR & RT Taggart to provide the City with a new urban block based on the state-of-the-art New Urbanist design principles. The layout provides a new urban space for Belfast on the axis of Belfast Cathedral, the area's iconic set-piece building. The City's newest formal square since the Victorian era is defined at street level by a new hotel, restaurants, and arts centre.
