John Smylie has been a Partner since 2001 and has specialised in medium- to large-scale mixed-use urban developments

John emphasises the importance of design in strengthening local character and respecting the unique qualities of places. In 2004, he achieved the highest level membership of the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism.

John is active in all aspects of promoting good design practice and is currently a Committee member of the Belfast Civic Trust.
