We *only* use yelp to *read* reviews
We don't post reviews, comments, etc
I've read that yelp might block some fake reviewers and such Is my ip address being blocked for some reason How do i get it unblocked I've already emailed their support a week ago, but so far, there's no response, and i get the feeling i shouldn't hold my breath.
I noticed that outside of restaurants, reviews for other businesses are always dormant In a way that indicates yelp may be in a state of decline compared to how busy it was in years past Tripadvisor seems to be great for restaurants and hotels specifically Google reviews also appears to be actively used
What is everyone using and considering relevant these days?

Yelp has become a dominant platform for consumers to find and review businesses, but what many people don’t realize is the pressure it puts on business owners to pay for its services Yelp’s advertising model is controversial, to say the least If business owners don’t fork over money for ads, yelp allegedly hides positive reviews and showcases negative ones, essentially holding business. Yelp equivalent in the uk
I am visiting london in december and was curious if yelp is widely used in the uk to search for food/drink establishments nearby Or if there is another app that is equivalent New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Yelp literally hold you hostage by their reviews
They intentionally don't let the good ones to your site until you start paying for ads They are real fuckersbover there We had a ton of reviews until the yelp reps reached out to me After telling two of them i would not spend money with them they hid most of my reviews as not recommended.
