God i love that model, something about a gunship ship dropping off troops on an objective feels so badass I love valkyrie so much that i would take her out to eat at olive garden then take her home and watch the john wick trilogy But is it worth including a single valkyrie in a list as a fun pet model

Is it only worth it with scions
Dude, i bought into astra militarum way back iat the beginning of 5e because they were rumored to be getting a plastic valkyrie
By the time i stopped playing, i had 9 of them that i would pack up with veteran squads They are hilariously fun to fly around the table Late game deployment drops onto objectives to attempt to steal victory was my bread and butter Just avoid taking indirect fire.

Warhammer 40k is a franchise created by games workshop, detailing the far future and the grim darkness it holds
The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect That are all connected in the 40k universe This subreddit is for anything and everything related to warhammer 40k. So fun story, i did end up trying this combo when 10th edition first dropped
Unfortunately the fact that they’re in a transport means they do not get affected by their datasheet ability However, with the recent change to voice of command, i’m considering a castellan/kasrkin squad kitted with volley and plasma in a valk to make use of the surprise frfsrf and sustained hits 1 from down.
