What i don't have are the associated names, addresses, dob and other info that would make those numbers useful. I was never notified, and just confirmed… Being breached today is meaningless, because social security numbers are no longer private

I called the number given (i believe it was for the ssa), and the person told me to file identity theft on the federal trade commission website
I went to the website and i just started clicking some stuff to explain my situation. Pretty much everyone’s info is on the dark web due to security breaches at these huge companies every other day. I wish i could pinpoint where my information was leaked from, but all that was leaked with it was an address and cell phone number from like 12 years ago, along with my full name and birth date. I just found out today my ssn, number and email were leaked in the 2021 data breach
