Sex Lives of College Girls star Amrit Kaur is ready to lay her soul
Use of tobacco, alcohol or narcotic drugs.
Established by the tenth guru, taking amrit is the initiation ceremony that allows sikhs to become members of the khalsa
Amrit means immortal nectar and refers to the bowl of sugar water that is prayed over and stirred throughout the ceremony by five members of the khalsa. Ask pupils to suggest examples of ceremonies they know about that celebrate someone stating publicly a wish to become a full member of that religion, e.g Confirmation, bar/bat mitzvah and amrit. The name of god or the divine word (shabad) is also called amrit
The subtle mystical relation between these three is briefly explained in this booklet. All bondage and sorrow are mind created.
